Welcome to Pianeta! To ensure an effective, enjoyable, and productive experience for all students, please read and adhere to the following guidelines:
Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive at lessons on time. Consistent tardiness can disrupt classes and negatively affect musical progress.
Respectful Behavior: Students demonstrate respectful and courteous behavior toward the instructor and fellow students. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Preparedness: Come to class prepared with necessary materials, including music books, notebooks, and any assigned music pieces. Regular practice between lessons is essential for progress.
Communication: Cell phones should be silenced during class unless explicitly allowed for instructional purposes.
Notification: If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, please notify Pianeta at least 24 hours in advance. Early notification allows scheduling adjustments and prevents unnecessary disruptions.
Make-up Lessons: Make-up lessons are only guaranteed if sufficient notice is provided and if scheduling permits. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may not be eligible for a make-up lesson.
Extended Absence: Inform Pianeta in advance about extended absences due to illness, travel, or other reasons. Appropriate adjustments to lesson schedules or billing may be possible with advanced notice.
Tuition: Tuition fees must be paid monthly and are due at the beginning of each month. Accepted methods of payment include cash, check, or online payments (Zelle olesiapupina@gmail.com, PayPal olesiapupina@gmail.com).
Refunds and Credits: Tuition fees are non-refundable. However, credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis for prolonged illness or extenuating circumstances, subject to approval by Pianeta management.
Trial and Consultation: New students may schedule an initial trial lesson or consultation before committing to regular lessons. Payment for this initial lesson must be completed at or before the scheduled appointment.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines, as they help us provide a structured and productive learning environment for every student at Pianeta.
Tuition is not an hourly fee — it is an investment in your child’s music education. Your tuition ensures not only the lesson itself, but also the teacher’s preparation time, recital planning and organization, ongoing professional development, quality learning materials, and the purchase and upkeep of instruments and equipment. Because these costs remain the same regardless of attendance, we are unable to offer refunds or make-up lessons for those missed by the student.
